$25,000,000 budget  just over $258k domestic gross.<br />
Looks like it never was on more than 20 screens in the US. But it was on 155 in the UKwhich made it ~187k<br />
Am I missing something?? This is almost unheard of.</p>

<p dir="auto">I do remember when it was first released, even then it crept largely under the radar. I guess it could be argued that it's not your typical fan boy fare, but also not necessarily an art - house product.<br />
Hackman and Freeman both were involved in the production. I wonder whether they made any money?</p>

<p dir="auto">very odd that this didn't get a wider release in The US and Canada. it's a better film than 75% of the crap playing in my local cinemas.</p>
