having said that how long did we wait in between terminator films?
i personally wouldn't mind C4 if clive is fully on board. a male support would be a fresh change instead of another female, i think it would be interesting if this male also decided to actually join and help candyman, you see this male descendant slowly turning and succumb to the candyman and the two work together to settle old scores, both in this life and the next and past differences. maybe this co-operation helps the candyman to settle his past conflicts of the way he was treated and the way he died and maybe help him peacefully move on, repenting for his sins and forgiving those who did him wrong. he can finally lay down to die and rest in peace - give us another villain/tragic hero to appreciate - i personally would love that
i haven't seen C3 yet so can someone please explain how he's still alive for a 3rd and possible 4th? the ending to the original is easily explained - his physical manifestation died in the fire, however his soul and spirit lives on. but the second one his soul and spirit is supposedly smashed along with the mirror? or is revealing that gonna give away too many spoilers?

since there hasn't been a Candyman movie in ten years I don't think it's ever gonna happen.

from a close source of mine i am able to disclose that candyman 4 is in production. tony todd will reprise his role as the candyman and tony todd has said that it would be silly if the candyman fought pinhead. the details are sketchy but what has been leaked is that it will be a desendant of the candyman that he is going after it will be winter sometime and maybe set in the uk. rumours are also rife that maybe candyman will have a female bride no news as yet as to who she may be. clive barker has said that he wouldnt mind coming on as a director.

thought i would check on my old post saince my posting i have seen candyman three. it mostly sucked 1 n 2 were better. only way part could be good is if they do something really new like fight someone.i havent seen any hellraiser movies but everybody i know who has said it wouldent make for them to fight. candyman should micheal myers. they were both in chichago n ca this would make a cool fight. would should win?

If he actually does work on it I will have to agree, it will probably be the best in the series. I thought that 1 was ok, definitely wasn't scary which was what I was looking for. The reason I watched it was because a friend said it was the scariest movie he'd ever seen. This caused me to be quite disappointed. I think I saw the second one a long time ago, there was a post on here about the DJ having an annoying voice and I remember seeing a movie taking place in
new Orleans with an annoying dj but i cant remember. I have rented the 2nd and 3rd though and am going to watch them when I get a chance. However, if Clive doesn't work on it, then I'll have to say it will be the worst.

I think because there's usually some kind of sexual tension between the killer and the female character and if they had a male running around and crying he would look like a total pussy.

why are the lead characters always female? it was great in 1 and 2 but started to get boring in 3 as it was repetetive maybe a male lead could freshen the movie with some new ideas and twists, i know it was to do with Caroline and is why the characters are female but im sure one of his descendents would be male, maybe a descendent of one of his original family e.g a brother. and how many more things can be used to destroy him weve had fire, a mirror and a painting i think the only way to kill him would be for someone to join him or something to do with Carline and love and finally laying him to rest. maybe someone like himself could kill him, someone of equal power, someone not unlike helen.
