just picked up #3 from wal*mart for 5 dollars. and by reading the inside 'production notes'. im mildly irritated. i havent seen this movie yet. but i love the first two and this one sounds just like the first one.
like direct quote
"production executives spared to their "new" direction for the franchise evolve the character of daniel robitaille by exploiting his art. something that hadnt been done before. the duo set up the notion that robitaille was a successful painter at the time of his brutal murder. his pain was a direct result of having his artistic freedom interrupted."
isnt this the basis of the first two? that he was wrongfully killed for falling in love with a white woman that he was hired to paint?
im pretty sure they made it obvious that he was artistic and that he died as a result of his work as a painter [meeting caroline and falling in love. all the paintings of her]
more direct quote-
"we see whaat was taken away from him and we understand what he wants to reclain- his family."
thats what he's been going after. 'it was always you helen' && then in the second one going after his g. grandaughter annie.
it was always about love and familly.
and then the entire last section of the production notes are talking about the bees used in the film and how they used real bees that were only 12 hours old because their stingers arent fully developed and how most of the actors were nervous but not tony todd because in one scene he has bees pour from his mouth. he used a special retainer to keep the bees from going down his throat.
any of this sound familiar? cause anyone that has seen the original on dvd knows that this has already been said about the first one.
all thats left is to say that the main character was hypnotized during filming.
blahblahhblah get creative. losers.
.inside is fishstick. .outside is tartar sauce.
