Such a shame, because the Hellboy character is cool, if only the movie was made better.
If this was the worst movie I'd ever watched, I'd think myself lucky. You must be very young.

I totally agree.
Hellboy was the worst thing to happen since the Holocaust.
Everybody that was involved in making it should kill themselves.
Hmactually platitudes and superlatives aren't actually as fun as I thought. It was fine. At worst it was not that good.

Dunno about Van Helsing, not sure I've ever seen it
seen any 'Underworld' movies? VH is exactly the same as those.

Dunno about Van Helsing, not sure I've ever seen it, but definitely yes on League of etc.! From what I remember, it was pretty good in every way except for the writing. Which is not saying much, because the writing makes up more than half the overall quality of a movie. So while I'm not a fan of League of etc., I still prefer it over Hellboy, which was worse in almost every way, including the damn writing!

Yes we are. You see, the thing is: Your opinion isn't the only one. (In fact, a majority of people really enjoy the films- good reviews, generally very warm fan reception, awards, etc.) Just because you didn't like it, doesn't mean other people feel the same way.

We will have to agree to strongly disagree. I thought it was a beautifully shot, well-written, wonderfully designed film that had just the right tone.
