It took me a while to get round to seeing this film. I've tried before in the past and it always came off as a little dull but I stuck with it this time.
Yes it's quite good and the cast are brilliant but I'd say it loses momentum from time to time and about half an hour out from the end I sort of lost interest. It's nice to look at as well but for Ridley Scott standards it's a little sub par.
Apparently the script was unfinished and went through extensive re-writes during production and it's sort of shows as it's one of the weaker points of the film.
I'm glad I saw it though and it is good but just a little clunky in parts and not very memorable past the charisma of the wonderful actors and Scott's hand.
Not sure I'd watch it again but I can't fault what is a great effort by talented people.
