Gabriel is one if the most mysterious characters in this series and personally one of my favorites. IMO i don't believe he died at the end of COTC 6 partly because HE WHO WALKS BEHIND THE ROWS is immortal and can never truly be killed and Gabriel is the demon personified. Also, Gabriel even says himself when he fakes dying "damn fine performance if i do say so myself" in this case he is bragging about his immortality and their pathetic attempt at killing him. A lot of people say he is just another kid possessed by HHWBTR but i don't think so. I admit it is possible (like Micah Eli Ezekial etc.) however when these boy preachers die they don not magically resurrect like Gabriel (plus HHWBTR left Micah before he was killed and he died unpossessed.)
Also, Gabriel flew in the air (none of the other boy preachers did this so this to me makes him more than a man possessed it shows him as a true supernatural being.)
