<p dir="auto">Galaxy Quest predates the appearance of the Xindi in Enterprise by about 3 years. So it's possible that some humour was used behind the scenes to have them look alike<br />
Or it could just have been a coincidental thing appropriate to what alien villains are meant to look like for the time of production.<br />
It would be nice if Seth MacFarlane did a Family Guy skit about it all, that would be apt and in fitting with his Orville show</p>

<p dir="auto">True!  I read a lot of people say Galaxy Quest is part of Star Trek canon because the bad guy is a Xindi.<br />
