I don't see where else they could go, literally and figuratively, with a second one.
So I am glad this is a stand alone film which is just fine as it is.
Why ruin what is already perfect?

Apparently various sites keep listing a show as upcoming but I just don't think it can work. It's been too long, Rickman has left us, Tim Allen is pissing off everyone on Twitter. Why not leave memories with just the movie, documentary and E! "mock" making of?
