<p dir="auto">Just read the book recently. While the book's far from perfect, I found it very readable (in a trashy kind of way), and much much better than this film.<br />
It's not "Sci-Fi", it's SF!<br />

<p dir="auto">I agree. If you can look past the obvious scientology references and the johnny-as-hubbard marysueism, it's a pretty damn good scifi novel. The first half is kind of a prison-break/action novel and the second half is like a political thriller.<br />
