Not sure why people think the OP is trolling, it is a good movie, and Travolta did give a very good performance.. the whole serious yet comedicly serious nature of the film is why it is so brilliant..

Personally I think it's a fantastic movie, I've watched it several times and look forward to seeing it again at some point.

I disagree. Travolta did give a very forgettable performance in Resevoir Dogs, but it was still much better than anything he did in Battlefield Earth.

I gave it a low score because I found myself unintentionally laughing more then watching seriously.

Also Travolta was not in Jackie Brown or 4 Rooms. And Battlefield Earth is worthy of the Bottom 100. At least bottom 100 of films with over 1mil budget. Forrest Whitacre wearing a 10lb mop head was bad enough.
