What episodes can I happily skip?

You won't miss anything. I stopped watching this pile of garbage after first episode of season 2. I realized i had been torturing myself through most of season 1. Why they call it sci-fi is beyond me. Its all fantasy nonsense with zero story line or script. Every episode starts at zero where non of the previous story matters. Good guys go bad, bad guys go good and this repeats itself again and again and even with the same characters.
Wanna waist time? Watch all of them. If not, skip em all

The only one I would skip is Season 3's "Revenging Angel." It's an hour of unrelieved stupidity. The music is stupid, the cartoon action just increases one's appreciation of Warner Bros, who would never have produced anything as overdone as this (nor would Hanna-Barbera! Disney might.) An insult to my eyeballs.

You should finish the show. Just like everyone else said about things being subjective, you may have missed your favorite episode by not continuing past that point. To me that is the point at which the show hit its stride because it upped the ante. It sort of made the writers deal with charachers who no longer had
Zhaan as that voice of reason
to help them along. Plus you never got to see the droid 1812 which is kind of like John's pet.

Can't disagree enough, not only is it one of my favourite episodes of season two, it also makes for a great episode to contrast John in season one with the John of season two.

"Won't Get Fooled Again" is my skipper. Not a big fan of alternate reality episodes ir fantasy episodes. To me it didn't drive anything story wise.

Don't skip any episodes!

Sorry, but if you're going to take the time to watch a series from the beginning, then you need to watch ALL the episodes.
You don't read a book and skip out on all the chapters that don't interest you. You don't walk two thirds of a way through a movie and expect to watch the finale and be up on everything that has happened.
You take the good with the bad because it gives you the complete picture. Even with lucklustre episodes, there are things you can still enjoy about them not to mention important plot points maybe established that might go over you head if you choose to skip ahead and not watch.

The Locket is a good character piece for first viewing but also made pointless by its time rewinding-never happened ending. I despise this plot device.

Most of the skippable ones for me are in the first half of season 1.
I'm making my way through a rewatch now and just finished the third season. Not that I'd suggest skipping them if you haven't seen them but the Moya episodes were definitely weaker than the Talyn ones.
I did end up skipping "Picture if you will" and "The Locket" from Season 2. Season 3's Scratch N Sniff and Revenging Angel I'd recommend watching at least once, but I skipped through large portions of both on Netflix this go around.

See them and decide for yourself. I'm not a big fan of Coup by Clam, and John Quixote, but you might love those. It's a great show all around. I'm surprised when I find people who have never even heard of it!

Taking the Stone was not a waste episode. What is wrong with you?!

If you have to skip an episode then I would recommend Out of their Minds. The puppets in that were far too unrealistic and the voice work was pretty bad. Nick McKay sounded the same as he always does and Dominique Sweeny sounded like she was having an asthma attack. I didn't find the body swapping particularly funny either. Apart from a couple of scenes that is. To me it was the worst episode of the season.

There's an ep I'm not crazy about, but I just rewatched it and it's not that badit has its charms.

If you're asking that question then you shouldn't be watching this amazing show. Maybe a daytime soap is more your speed.

I'd say don't skip any.

In season three I think she makes Eat Me. It wouldn't be anywhere near as creepy without her being completely overwhelmed by events.

Not every episode is a jem but I agree, the Taking the Stone episode is particularly bad. Perhaps it's because it had so much Chianna in itfor me, that character is alright in small doses but an entire episode revolving around her was too much.

I kinda liked the fact that it made the two most "non plan-makin'" characters MAKE A PLAN. At that point - Chiana is still a wild card. Could you imagine being in a life and death situation. and your only hope of rescue is in the hands of on an oversexed kleptomaniac punk college Freshman (more or less)that you know in your heart is going to go all-in and then some Hijinks ensue.

I recall that the first half of the second season is pretty weak but the second half is pretty good.
