Then I should be in for a treat for the next couple seasons? I hear a lot of fans say the first season is pretty meh but honestly I've found each episode to be entertaining. Some are obviously better than others but no real stinkers yet
It has an awesome Vibe? Or feel to it? It's hard to describe really. It's really unique and awesome so far though. I'm a big DS9 fan and it kind of reminds of that but with its own spin on things

Oh yes. I adore the first season, but things just get better from there on. Season 3 is maybe my favorite season of any TV show.

If you are like me, I was also intrigued by the first episodes and let me tell you, the character development and writing gets better and better. I am not saying every episode gets better, some are definitely better than others, but every episode has it's own theme and charm that is unmatched in other sci-fi shows.
This is not only one of the best and most unique sci-fi shows ever, it's also in my top 5 favorite TV shows of all time.
Just wait until you're introduced to Scorpius, probably my favorite performance ever next to Al Swearengen from Deadwood. The dynamic between him Crighton and Crais gets EPIC.
If you liked the beginning you will LOVE the show when it gets going, I promise you.
