Is Cynthia a prisoner of Yanni's? Can she come and go or is she being held at his home in Chicago?

I think it's murky. I think he keeps her around because she's married to Jimmy, and Yanni thinks at some point it may lead him to Jimmy. Since Jimmy wants to kill Cynthia for the $10mil. While she has her own house, and can seemingly come and go as she pleases, I think that in reality she is essentially his prisoner.
