What's wrong with a homoerotic subtext? What in your mind makes it "blatant" in this movie? Isn't "blatant" a word we use when we talk of something that should be whispered if it's mentioned at all? How would you make it less blatant? Or do you think the homoeroticism you perceive should have been left out entirely?

Well I'm gay so apart of me wanted to see Josh luck lips with Luke Walker sometime in this movie. But there were parts where I did see gay subtest. The first of course is that all the skulls have male "soul mates" and the 2nd one is where Luke needs help with his tie and Walker comes in and ties it for him while looking him in the face. Other then that I can't think of any other subtest, it's just one of those movies that mistakely is too "male-to-male friendly"

I didn't pick up any homo-erotic subtext at all in the movie. I mean, I wanted Paul Walker to get naked desperately, but other than that, no. Just a well-done college thriller, no gay subtext at all in my opinion.
