I was 11, in the Fifth Grade, my last year of Elementary School. By that point I was kind of starting to outgrow Nickelodeon but I would occasionally SpongeBob. I wouldn't say I grew up with the show like a lot of people on here did but I did see the movie in 2004. I was 16.
I never could have guessed SpongeBob would still be on today, nearly 18 years later.

I mostly grew up with the first four seasons of SpongeBob; I enjoyed the show since I was six months old.

I first saw SpongeBob in 1999, the same year it first premiered. I was 9 years old at the time. I was sick, lying in bed, and looking for something good to watch. I found this show and pretty much adopted it as my favorite cartoon until I was around 13 and stopped watching it as often as before. But even since then, it has remained among my Top 3 favorite cartoons. Every once in a while, I still see a new episode out of curiosity.
