I was recently getting back into Spongebob as I hadn't really watched in a while.
I have seen almost all the episodes from seasons 1-4. It was season 4 I never saw all of. And I loved those seasons. But I hear the show goes downhill after that with the characters becoming complete jerks, and /or a lot of creepy episodes.
But I hear season 9 has picked the show back up, except for the bad episodes like
Squid Baby,
Little Yellow Book,
SB, You're Fired.
So how does it pick up? Are the plots just better, or have the characters actually gotten back to their more likable roots?
