<p dir="auto">I see so many posts on this board where People seem to have misunderstood the narrative that People are supposed to have no emotion in it. The drug is clearly said to remove the highs and lows of human emotion, but not to remove them completely.<br />
In addition nearly every speaking character is actually off the drug, apart from the main character in the first 1/4 of the film.</p>

<p dir="auto">That's a very good point. You can still feel anger or sadness. It's just controlled and leveled so it doesn't affect your demeanor.<br />
