Not only was Reagan a racist, but a classist. He destroyed the unions and the middle-class.. Gave the largest tax cut (at that time) for the rich, and then the largest tax hike on the working/middle classes.
I think Reagan was the most the GOP went from conservative to fascist. Nixon would have never done that, and did a lot of "liberal" stuff.
