Why isn't the jury able to deliberate after they've heard the finalists answer their questions? I've never understood why they're not held in a room to discuss things before they vote. That's how a court jury does it! I get that they live on Ponderosa and they get to talk among themselves, but we're never really privy to that conversation. And that's a shame.

The producers obviously want them to vote immediately as it is theatrical and reminiscent of a Tribal Council. I think the show also wants it to be done when emotions are potentially heightened right there at the end.
As far as our being privy, the show does give us some clips of ponderosa and such, and it's really up to them to realize the value of that and make it available to the public.
