I don't see the point in getting out Jay right now and I definitely don't agree that they should get him because he's a dumb player. In reality, he's one of the few that have actually been trying to play this game. Players like Sunday, Brett, Ken, etc should be voted out long before him if you're basing the vote off of who is playing the hardest.

He should, but won't. He's too easy of a vote, and things never go this smoothly in Survivor. Someone always screws things up. Sunday seems like an idiot as well so she's going to gun for Jessica instead. Because clearly Jessica's a huge mental and physical thread and must be stopped.

You are right. Jay is a dumb player and should go home next, but won't. Unfortunately.
.Zing!

Because he likely was told by Sunday that the votes were going against Taylor. I doubt he was unaware.

That logic would work if he didn't already show that he's unwilling to play his idol. I mean Sunday told him it's going to be him or Taylor and the votes were almost tied yet he still didn't use his idol.

Jay should go next.
"Should", maybe. You do recall that he's got an idol and he should be seriously worried about being the next to be voted out, right? He isn't going anywhere in the next vote. And, with an immunity win or two, he may survive several votes.
