not perfect. Most of the casting was good. With the exception of Kate Hudson, her role needed someone with some chops, saySaffron Burrows?
I read the book a long time ago and I've never really liked any of the films, but this modern one kind of helped me to relate to it.

I never read the book but I thought this was a fun action-adventure film with great performances from Heath Ledger and Djimon Honsou.
