And then having a scene at the end where we see the last british soldier leaving through the Khyber Pass while this is happening having to tribesmen looking on and one saying to the other "The British, they will return and then they do Afghanistan will defeat them again".
While the tune Khyber Pass from the Hurt Locker soundtrack is playing.
How would this be.
I'm a Conservative, and thats my opinion on this matter.

I'd rather see an adaptation of Flashman.

No, they should do one about the British invasion of Afghanistan in the 1840s. The whole William Brydon being the sole survivor of an enite army thing would be a great story. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacre_of_Elphinstone's_Army

The Hurt locker was the most overrated movie of all time short of "home of the brave"..EOD techs Ive known in the service have attested to this, and I can personally say that if an EOD tech acted like the protaganist did..he would be booted out of the EOD/IEDD faster then you could say "rubber bottom"..
And who says were losing in the stan..stop listening to the liberal media, they are just trying to pick everything apart..
