There I said it. The acting wasn't as bad and I really enjoyed the references to the other films, they threw something in there for the dedicated fans, not to mention the pre-titles sequence is one of the best ever. And by the way yes I have deducted points for the stupid CGI kite surfing escape.

For me Goldeneye is a middle of the road Bond film, not bad by any means but nothing special. I don't even think it's Martin Campbell's best film, that would be Mask of Zorro followed by Casino Royale.
