<p dir="auto">I just remembered that in the first classroom scene, Marcus said in his story “he wasn’t a freak anymore, for she made him forget his affliction.” When Vi goes to see him after the scene with the professor, he called himself a freak. Since he broke up with her, and wasn’t with her at that moment, he wasn’t able to forget his affliction.</p>
