This guy would get the $250K over the Internet in less than a week. It's amazing what technology has done for us in a positive way.
People are donating (in total from EVERYONE) over $1M a year to YOUTUBE streamers because they are entertaining, etc. Guys go on twitch and make a 6 figure salary. Some dickhole faked being handicapped (in a wheelchair, caught standing up on stream) and was getting enough donations to not have to work
Man. Days of receiving the cash like John Q was? Gone.
Like if this guy posted something online and I saw it, I'd throw $10 his way. Multiply maybe every 1% of the people that saw it times the # of people on the planet? $250K is nothing.
