I don't really watch films like that
Although I did watch 50 Shades of Grey which was pretty good and not because of the sexual content either
It just was a good movie all around

"Belle de jour" by Luis Bunuel. It's about a newly married woman who does not sleep with her doctor husband, but instead decides to work at a brothel. Some of the encounters she has with her "clients" are very SM laden.

In addition to those mentioned, Ao Bisiesto (Leap Year), 2010 Mexican film directed by an Australian director, Michael Rowe. Very sad and beautiful drama, with a particularly interesting dynamic between the characters. Not to be confused with the American romcom of the same title.
Another great movie, Ang Lee's Lust, Caution has S&M elements & scenes.
I haven't seen it, but I know that the Francis Bacon biopic Love is the Devil (1998) has a gay BDSM relationship, with the emotional and social power dynamic that's the exact opposite of the sexual roles as Dominant and Submissive.
Pain is to pleasure as disco is to punk. You need to live through one to fully appreciate the other.

A way more apposite Bunuel movie than "Obscure Object" would be "Belle de Jour".
I think Fassbinder's "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant" would probably fit right in.
Joseph Losey's "The Servant" has a lot of the same sort of power dynamics.
9 1/2 weeks if we want to look downmarket.
And "Blue Velvet" of course.
I used to want to change the world. Now I just want to leave the room with a little dignity.

As it happens, both "BDSM" and "sadomasochism" (with a few variations) are valid IMDB keywords:
http://www.imdb.com/keyword/bdsm/
(100+ titles)
http://www.imdb.com/find?s=kw&q=sadomasochism
(300+ titles)
More generally, whenever you want to quickly identify films which are like a given film in certain aspects (and you've already looked over the director's other films), try the following simple but quite effective technique:
On the main page for a given ("seed") film, click on the "See more" URL on the "Plot Keywords" line, near the top of the page. For instance, in the case of
La Pianiste (2001)
, you come up with:
http://www.imdb.com/board/10254686/keywords
Now explore the resulting list of keywords (well over 100 in this case) to your heart's content one keyword at a time. Naturally, you'll want to zero in on those particular keywords which you feel are most related to why you liked the seed film in the first place.
You can even combine 2, 3 or more keywords, using the Movie Keyword Analyzer on the right-hand side of each of those single keyword lists. For example, "sadomasochism" and "Paris":
http://www.imdb.com/keyword/paris-france/sadomasochism/
(12 titles)

Well, let's see.

Liliana Cavani's The Night Porter (

Pier Paolo Pasolini's Sal o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10073650/
(a bit off the track, but worth it if you can stomach it).

Luis Bunuel's Cet obscur objet du dsir (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10075824/

Takashi Miike's Audition (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10235198/

David Cronenberg's Videdrome (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10086541/
) features such a relation, even if it isn't the main point of the flick.

Just Jaeckin's Histoire d'O (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10073115/

Ry Murakami's Tokio Decadence (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10105622/

Henri Xhonneux' weird Marquis (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10097839/

Subject is treated in Jan Svankmajer's production, see for example Spiklenci Slasti (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10117715/
http://www.imdb.com/board/10407236/

Lars Von Trier also eagerly exlores the subject. A couple of examples: Breaking the Waves (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10115751/
) and Dogville (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10276919/
).

I'd say Federico Fellini's La Strada (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10047528/
) is about an abusive (thus kind of SM) relationship

More, Bernardo Bertolucci's Ultimo tango a Parigi (
http://www.imdb.com/board/10070849/
) is,
if
I got the ending right, ultimately about the inherent sadomasochism in relations.
Maybe I've been a little too broad. You asked for movies revolving around S+M relationships, I've added movies about SM or where SM has a passing appearance. I beg your pardon, master, punish me at your will I'll add movies if they come to my mind, however.
