If the man walked into a Neiman Marcus and did this, the employee would respond much differently. She responded that way because she's poor and works at McDonald's. Yeah, but they're a lousy alternative. They get too wet and unusable within minutes. You need 75 straws just to get through one drink. It's also unappetizing feeling wet paper in your mouth.

Aren't they switching to paper straws? Some places are doing that here.

People with sensitive teeth will suffer without straws. There will be a lot of class-action lawsuits over this huge mistake. The challenges to authority figures have already begun, as seen in the video above. Soon there will be riots in the streets. I think there's a chance this will be one of the causes of WWIII.

It's easy to say that now, but I foresaw it a long time before I posted about it. And it's only going to get worse. A few less straws floating around in the world might make a small impact on the environment, but at what cost? AT WHAT COST?!??
