The thing that stood out to me about this film is how hairy everyone was. Starting with the blond guy who got out of the pool in the first few minutes. Sheesh, the guy had a pelt.
Compared to the gay guys in Queer as Folk, most of the Continental Baths patrons were small and unmuscular. Only the go-go dancers and the white briefs dancers could fit into the 2000s TV version of the gay scene, judging by physique. Of course they'd all need hair cuts and shaves.
How do you think the gay guys from the 70s compare to the 00s? At least the ones in the (non-porn) movies or TV shows.
Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

I agree with you! These days gay guys are so manufactured they have no natural good looks! In those days gay men were just themselves they had no need to wax, pluck, shave and exfoliate their bodies!
