Definitely the dumbest movie I have ever seen. Here I thought I was going to be treated to a supernatural thriller with a great ending, and I got a Kevin Costner film. This movie was utter crap from beginning to end, I still can't believe I watched the whole thing.
Worst. Movie. Ever.

WATCHING the wretched thing - time isn't cheap/life is short/etc.

I disagree. While this movie does seem to to take awhile to get started, the ending was more than worth any flaws in the beginning in my opinion. My wife cried at the end. She has since shown it to several of her friends and they all loved it.
