Hello,
I only caught a glimpse at the end of the film, and I am pretty sure the song had a Spanish title, but I only know that one of the words was "que." I think.
And I think the artist was Juancyta Martinez.
However cannnot locate this song ANYWHERE, not even on the Lantana soundtrack.
Can anyone help?
thanks!!

The great instrumental song played during the ending credits seems to be "Let's Tangle" by Paul Kelly's band called Professor Ratbaggy.

The great instrumental played during the closing credits to Lantana was by Juancyto Martinez called "Que Sabes Tu De Amor" (2000).

that theme was part of the original music written by Paul Kelly. I checked the soundtrack tracklist, and it appears to be omitted.

I just caught the closing credit trail with this divine guitar instrumental playing over - kind of a psychedelic/phish/jamming style that just rolls on - please can anyone come up with the artist/band who did this? If it was in the closing credits, it was too small for my bad eyes to read
Manny many thanks in advance for any music guru who can come up with the answer!

I too just saw this film and thoroughly enjoyed it! The song during the closing credits is an instrumental, ie. no lyrics. It cannot be "Te Busco" sung by Celia Cruz. I too want this song in my collection! Is it on the soundtrack!? And I see at least two soundtracks available.
The piece is a guitar work that builds and builds to a crescendo and then - it ends. Period. The guitar was very tasty.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Jim

The name of the song is "Te Busco" by Celia Cruz, the finest Cuban singer of all time. The album is Azucar Negra, and it is wonderful. I am Cuban born, American bred, but this song, well, it reminds me of my very brief childhood in Cuba. Dance to it w/the one you love. Best. Fernando

The wonderful "te busco" by Celia Cruz is unfortunately not on the soundtrack.
Neither is "que sabes tu de amor" by juancyto martinez, if that was the song you were looking for.
Other songs in the film (none of which are on the soundtrack):
"descarga total" by Maraca
"respecta mi tambo" by los maranjos
"permiso que llego van van" by los van van
"opening" by bamboleo
"snowdrop" by ego featuring Elizabeth Wei
