years ago i remember watching two aussie fims that where brilliant and i still have flashbacks about them, but i cant remember the name of them, the first was of a kid obsessed with trams and he planned something and was great at making inventions,the second starred nicole kidmon, she was the daughter of a couple who ran a bar under sydney harbour bridge, it had a great story to it, please does anybody lnow the name of these films, thanks.

The second sounds like 'Starstruck' (1982), but it wasn't Nicole Kidman, it was another Aussie redhead, Jo Kennedy.

I don't know the Nicole Kidman movie, but the other one was called "Malcolm" and it starred Colin Friels.
