I have just finished watching Series 7 in which alot deals with Boyd and his son Luke. It was sad and quite powerful.
What struck me though was there was no mention of Luke's mother. Even if it was just a couple of lines, perhaps Grace telling Eve she had died when Luke was a boy or whatever happened to her. Anything.
