A beautiful female voice was singing in the Church - sounded like a devotional song. (Just watched Episode 1 'Blind Beggar' 2001) Does anyone recognise either the singer or the song? Would love to know who, and what.

Just saw this episode (both parts) for the first time with Netflix. Yes, the singing was beautiful - out of this world! I wish they had info on the music they use in this series. "Deathwatch" Part 2 has a piece I'd love to find.

I don't know who sang it but I did notice the song. I just watched this episode the other night. It was so good! I only intended to watch 1 episode of it and the second the night after but ended up watching both in one go!
