Other interesting things from the film I noted:</p>
<ul>
<li>The gumball machine on the bar at Tom's house.</li>
<li>Framed (samurai/katana) sword on the wall at Tom's house.  Maybe his father was a Pacific WWII vet?</li>
<li>The intersection where the near accident happened with the red stationwagon. There is a street sign visible, but I couldn't make out the numbers - something close to 22nd, 23rd, 32nd or 33rd streets.  That would put the neighborhood at south of I-10, right?</li>
<li>The head shop being called a "psycho-delicatessen".  Ha!</li>
