It's most certainly a UK regional show from the 70's.

I'm assuming it's an ITV show. What ITV region did you live in? And can you remember what type of show it was? (e.g. magazine programme, chat show, history or arts documentary etc).
My spelling and grammar are fine. It's my typing that sucks.
