My mom and I love this show. We used to watch it on sundance. We were really not happy with the American version. Has anyone seen it made for region 1 (USA)? I have looked all over the Internet. Please help. I want to buy it for my Mom's birthday. She would love it!

How does it work with the PAL/NTSC thing, even with a regionless dvd player? I know we can make ours region free, but with an NTSC tv would it be viewable?

What you can do is buy the region 2 disks but you have to unlock your dvd player so it can play all types of dvd's just look online and see what codes your dvd player may need. Codes for unlocking your dvd player varies to model and brand. Good luck. Also I bought the Hornbag collection (with all the seasons) and it is regionless so it is playable in all DVD's and i bought the DVD's on the main website.

I don't think so. It was discontinued. But when I cannot get what I want on DVD I buy what I can (video or in your case the Region 2 discs) and get it transferred onto discs (in your case Region 1 discs). Very cheap and easy.
Orwhy don't you get your player multi-regioned? Mine was bought as a multi-region player (or you can get them changed over). I live in Asia and buy Discs from Australia, America, Asia and Europe and never once has one not worked.
