In Belgium, they offer this movie in a box called 'creature features' containing also 'She-creature', 'Teenage caveman' and 'Earth vs. the spider'.
I guess they're all remakes of old monsterfilms.
Would it be worth the money buying the box with the 3 other movies?

A very belated answer but the answer in my opinion is YES. The scene with the young boy alone in the house with a storm outside is creepy - and in any case what can anyone expect of a horror movie?

OR any of the ORIGINAL black and white fifties movies with the same titles (with the possible exception of TEENAGE CAVEMAN). This movie I thought held its own, but those other 'remakes' are just garbage that use nothing but the title. Actually, that's all this one had in common with the original, but it wasn't half bad.

This is a rather late reply but all I can say is this.
If you are into quality films as opposed to real duds, then save your money for
something else.
I rented this for a few dollars from the local video rental outfit and I can't
say I got my money's worth.
If you like sci fi horror films then I would suggest something far better like
ALIEN ( the original one with sigourney weaver) and THE THING (directed by John Carpenter).

"Teenage Caveman" was the same as this movie.poopoo
