We'll have to wait another 2 years, but the latest buzz is Ron Howard is gonna make at least a trilogy of movies and a TV series based on Stephen King's epic novels.
From hollywood Insider: "Universal announced today that it has acquired the rights to produce three films and an NBC series based on the seven novels, short stories and comic books from Stephen Kings The Dark Tower. Ron Howard will direct the films and the first season of the TV show, which will be written by Akiva Goldsman (The Da Vinci Code)".
Yippie-ka-yay!!!!!
PS I posted it here because you can't post anything yet at The dark Tower (2012)
