Haha oh goodness, I never thought I'd see that referenced again. The Rambo thread was so ridiculous! Its hard to believe that was NINE years ago now. Every now and then I'd get a response on a random board saying something along the lines of "to the chest with a bullet from a gun?" I have a Word file saved somewhere, when it was up to about 200 responses (I think it went beyond 500 eventually).
Great that you remembered, and really made my day seeing it referenced again (and no doubt for the last time).

I agree I'm having a hard time dealing with this. I mean, dinosaurs like us have been around here for years. I've been going through my 700 or so old posts andthis just isn't right. I know they arbitrarily eliminate old stuff already, but to just wipe the slate clean?
Just terrible. I'm still holding a lingering thread of hope that this decision might be reversed.
But if not, I really think we need to figure out exactly where the hell we're going to go. There have been a few sites suggested already, but I haven't seen a clear front-runner.

It would never be the same. Imagine watching some old obscure film, then trying to have a discussion on Facebook. As IF that would be somehow more focused and troll-free than IMDB. It would be ridiculous.
