of
The Reluctant Debutante
with Rex Harrison as Dad and Sandra Dee as the American daughter. It doesn't strictly follow, but many of the features are includedthe drummer, the boring mauler, and the whole debutante thing.
TMC showed it last Sunday (6/15 - Father's Day). I thought it was so much better than WAGW, but I love Rex Harrison's work.
