Ugh. I was forced to watch this movie with my nieces and I found the lead character, Daphne, so unlikable. Do the writers think it's charming for a teenager to constantly fall, make a fool of herself, disrespect her elders, and thrash her head around every opportunity like she's got some kind of disorder?
So ridiculous.
I can't believe Colin Firth was in this disgrace. Unfortunately, these types of movies keep perpetuating the dumb American stereotype.

I agree. They made her likable one minute and then unlikable the next over and over again.
