Curious which Dark Castle horror film people think is better. I myself prefer Thir13en Ghosts just because some of the backstories on the ghosts are quite interesting, particularly the Angry Princess, The Jackal, the Hammer, and the Juggernaut. That said, I don't think Ghost Ship is THAT bad of a movie.

Thirteen Ghosts hands down. Better character development, better use of suspense, far scarier, more intriguing. The only thing Ghost Ship has on Thirteen Ghosts is better acting, but that's not saying much - the acting in Thirteen Ghosts was beep

I saw both movies. Liked them both for different reasons.
GHOST SHIP's theme has been done before, with a variations here and there. Still enjoyed it, but
Ghost Ship
was not as intriguing and
13 Ghosts
.
Plus, I just loved all the STEAMPUNK style machinery in the movie

I liked Ghost Ship more, though I'm not a terribly huge fan of each film. At least Ghost Ship didn't go crazy with quick cuts like Thirteen Ghosts did. Ghost Ship also had a great cast, even if they didn't get to do a whole lot other than get killed off one by one.

I prefer Thir13en Ghosts as well. I do like Ghost Ship, however Ghost Ship didn't provide a deeper back story with the bad guys.
