Someone told me there was a backstory on the character Selena. Before the outbreak, she was a pharmacist. She had look hair, but cut it off herself to prevent the infected from grabbing her by her hair to attack her.
Has anyone read this anywhere?

I don't know about the hair part, but in the movie she tells him that she was qualified to be a chemist, which to my understanding is slang for pharmacist.
