I think all of them are brilliant, even the cleaner and the guy who changes the paper towels! But Gareth is my favourite. Mackenzie Crook is superb; how he kept a straight face with some of the things Gareth said! Gareth is such a nobby jobsworth, really reminds me of someone I had the misfortune to work with years ago, but at the same time there's something endearing about him.

Gareth was my favorite as well. The things that came out of his mouth were just ridiculous and hilarious at the same time. I also don't know how he managed to not laugh during his lines. I did watch some of the bloopers and they are really funny as well.

The guy who changes the paper towels (and stares at the camera confused) is Steve Merchant's Dad.
In the main circle of characters (David, Tim, Gareth & Dawn) I would say Tim. But as for background characters (word of warning), I'd have to say big Keith. He should have had more screen time.
