This movie is actually pretty good.
It seems that people are complaining about Madonna's acting, but it's not that bad.
Also the movie got all kind of "awards" that don't make sense.
Worst Picture
Worst Actress - Madonna
Worst Screen Couple - Madonna and Giannini
Worst Remake or Sequel
Worst Director - Guy Ritchie
I could understand 2 and 3 (even though acting was decent), but what's the reasoning behind the others? Did Madonna do anything at that time to attract all this bias?
Anyway this movie is not a masterpiece, but it's much better than any crapfest made today. Waaay funnier than big-buget movies like "Hangover", "This is the end" etc. which get ridiculous ratings.

Yup, the "worst sequel" thing is especially baffling and it leads me to think that it was pushed by people who haven
t seen the original. That
s nothing surprising considering how obscure the original movie is, however to state something you have no grounds for is just well, usual. Watching both the films back to back one cannot gloss over the fact how much of a homage the remake is. To questionable original material, I admit (though I loved it).
Anyway both of the films get trashed and I think it
s very well deserved, because both were clearly made to offend people and they succeed like it
s nobody`s business.
