<p dir="auto">This movie genre is drama and crime as far as I can see. It's unbelievable that they didn't add biography as well.<br />
Lukas Moodysson was inspired by Danguole Rasalaite destiny and the similarity with Lilya are many, especially the important ones.<br />
For instance.</p>
<ol>
<li>Danguoles mother left her when she was 14 and went to America with a man.</li>
<li>The letter from her mother was similiar but crueller for Danguole than what we saw in the movie.</li>
<li>She met an older guy who asked if she wanted to come to Sweden. He said he could fix a job for her.</li>
<li>She traveled to Sweden with a fake passport that was taken away from her by the older man who was her contact.</li>
<li>She was held prisoner in the apartment in Arlv.</li>
<li>She jumped from a bridge in Malm and died 3 days later.<br />
