yet somehow,
some retard was able to justify cancelling this VERY successful TV series to his even dumber bosses!

It's more successful now than it was when it first aired. Fox made a number of mistakes like airing the wrong episode first and putting it in a "death slot" for ratings. Sadly a lot of really great shows go out this way.

Well, the problem was that Fox didn't advertise the show correctly and also aired the episodes out of order and on Fridays. Then, they cancelled it with three unaired episodes.
