Just started rewatching the show and OMG IS THIS STUFF AWESOME !!!
I remember the first time through I kept thinking "ugh this is good, but its a western ugh" - I had watched a couple western before and ended up really disliking that genre due to its machismo, racism and inhumanity(), also quite frankly they are kind of too slow speed and really boring in their action - and I think I missed a lot of stuff because of that.
Now that I am kind of over it.
Its really sad that theres no chance in hell for a continuation now (**).
( Worst was probably when in the Searchers the character of John Wayne wants to murder the white woman that was abducted because she identifies with native american culture now.
(**): At least with the original cast, and quite frankly, every single actor casted was an absolutely genius choice for his part.
A gentleman will not insult me, and no man not a gentleman can insult me.
