I'm not involved in this movie even though I do produce low budget movies. I knew nothing of this film until I picked it up in a used DVD sale today.
I like the movie but that is neither here nor there.
For me this movie had more to do with two icons than anything else. Judith returns to the screen after a 20+ year absence. She became an icon as Barbra in Night of the Living Dead.
Second is Melanie, Heavenly Creatures is such an amazing film and she herself is a heavenly creature.
Two icons, one movie.
