I always tune out in the middle of this film, and it's evident why.
Lori has a total meltdown at the school and actually faints. We then see Freddy's sillhoutte behind the glass wall as she sleeps. The scene cuts.
We are now with Will and Mark in the library as they research. The scene cuts to the two of them continuing their conversation in a van at night.
We are now at the Rave, where Lori is chilling out having a good time bopping along to the music.
Did they cut like three scenes?
"See it with someone you loveGo by yourself"

If you pay close attention to the school hallway scene with Will and Mark, you'll notice Evangeline Lilly (as an extra) appears at both ends of the hallway in the same scene. Though, I probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't her.

And also the part when Jason pulls out Freddy's arm was weird. It was backwards. We first saw Jason pull the arm out then after that we see him trying to pull it out. Strange

What you are complaining about is not the editors fault but the directors fault. A director makes the choice on how to construct a film. The editor helps put the film together.

I forgot that bit, it's like Jason is coming up to the van and your right, again it just cuts to the next scene.

Yeah I agree, some of the editing was weird. They should've gotten a better editor. There was one scene where will and mark were talking and it cut to outside of the van, so I assumed it was over but it cut back into the van. I found that weird. They should've gotten a better editor. Overall, the movie was pretty good.
